Why can't I get certain applications that my other co-workers can on MarketView?

The answer is what Permissions you or may not have. With our software, our clients have the ability to permission its users with certain "rights" as to the functionality of our software and what data will be available. This will thus allow cost efficiency and also only give certain users the right to see and use certain applications useful to them. Calling your system administrator or a GlobalView consultant can assist you in the matter

What is a Seasonal Chart?

What are the documented bugs and what is being done to fix them?

We take pride in offering our customers easy to use applications and trading tools using cutting edge Windows based technology. Unfortunately, as upgrades or changes are created and supplied to customers, sometimes there are little things which may not work right and are fondly called "bugs". When Using the LiveQuote Macros in Excel I get blanks instead of numbers in the table. What's wrong?

While blanks can simply mean there is No data Available, there are some things to be aware of:

Make sure you only use CAPITAL letters in the macro dialog box as the majority of symbols are always in capital letters.  There are some exceptions to this rule and symbols which use lowercase letters, specifically the Comstock symbols for International Exchanges (i.e. 1tFB, 2sSF, etc.)

Make sure you use the appropriate Symbol Format Prefix. For example:

/CLZ8 instead of CLZ8 (for Light, Sweet crude)
#PCACG00 not PCACG00 (etc.)

Use "/" for Future Symbols, "#" for Spot prices, "-" for Options, and "$" for Index Symbols.  There are some symbols which do not have a Symbol Format Prefix, specifically the ComStock symbols for International Exchanges (i.e. 1tFB, 2sSF, etc.)
