GlobalView wins 2005 Energy Risk award
Chicago, IL - US-based GlobalView Software Inc., the industry leader in providing fully integrated, Internet based, real-time and historical energy information solutions, announced today that it has been awarded “Data Management House of the Year” at the 2005 Energy Risk Awards. The awards were given at Incisive Media’s Energy Risk USA conference held recently in Houston. “Last year, one data management system stood out as providing a truly global and versatile solution,” wrote Energy Risk’s editor, Stella Farrington, in the May issue.
“GlobalView is very pleased to have been recognized by this prestigious publication. This award is yet further validation that our vision and hard work are transforming the way the energy industry manages their data,” said Jon Olson, CEO of GlobalView Software. “Given our recently announced work on behalf of industry-led initiatives such as the ConfirmHub and Energy Data Hub, as well as our strategic partnerships with our individual corporate clients, GlobalView continues to establish itself as the leader in web-enabled data management,” he added.
“I believe our ability to manage deep historical information, coupled with our capabilities in the area of real-time data and news really sets us apart from other vendors serving the energy industry,” said Jim Garland, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for the company. “As an added benefit, GlobalView offers the lowest total cost of ownership with our infrastructure-less information management solutions,” he added.
