GlobalView Introduces New Version of MarketView

CHICAGO, IL November 21, 2005 – GlobalView Software Inc., the energy industry’s leading provider of real-time and historic data management solutions, has released MarketView 3.5 featuring a series of solution enhancements, including advanced charting functionality, additional energy data sources and new analytics. Free global webinars will be conducted in December to provide the industry with a firsthand look at how the enhancements can affect their trading and business practices.

With MarketView 3.5, customers can access more data than ever before. The suite of sources for GlobalData, GlobalView’s high quality data solution, has been expanded to include:

• NYISO, NE-ISO, PJM
• CMAI
• Amerex indicative broker data
• C1 China Market
• Additional spot and forward FX rates

Enhancements in MarketView 3.5 and recent releases have significantly advanced data analysis functions. Charts and tables now support additional technical studies, including DMI, Parabolic SAR, Williams %R, CCI and Moving Linear Regression, as well as multiple symbol studies, Correlation and Covariance. Charts can now display up to five panels to further leverage analysis capabilities. Also, charts can be configured to handle the analysis of ISO data and access Peak, Off-Peak and a defined range of hours, and User Defined Formulas (UDF) can now be nested.

In addition, unit conversions for gas and power have been extended, allowing users to convert any unit from one type of measurement to another.

“GlobalView’s software and data services are always evolving. We constantly evaluate the needs of our customers and the industry to ensure our releases include the most valuable and effective functionality,” said Bruce Weis, Vice President, Data Services and Development.
