GlobalView Releases New Version of Excel Tools

CHICAGO, IL (May 14, 2007) GlobalView Software Inc., the energy industry's leading provider of real-time, delayed, historical and proprietary data management solutions, announced the latest version of Excel Tools is available.

Excel Tools provides customers with easy access to GlobalView's comprehensive collection of real-time and historical data through Excel. Users can create spreadsheets that update with real-time market information by using the Excel Tools Live Quote function. Historical information can be pulled through the LinkPlus function. All functions can be conveniently executed via a simple point and click action initiated from the Excel Tools toolbar.

Excel Tools is a stand-alone application that runs independent of GlobalView's award-winning data management solution, MarketView. This means MarketView does not need to be open in order for users to access Excel Tools.

The latest version of Excel Tools includes the addition of two new periods to pull data: ISO Hourly and ISO Daily. These enable users to hone their data searches to a more specific level. The ISO Hourly and ISO Daily periods allow users to pull On-Peak and Off-Peak Aggregates
