The open and flexible nature of MarketView Desktop allows you to easily customize the arrangement and display of your individual data. MarketView Desktop components can subscribe to streaming data hosted by GlobalView.
Components
Each of the following MarketView Desktop components (written in Java) can be used within the MarketView framework or can be integrated into customized web site applications.
QuoteView
Access a spreadsheet style grid that displays your rows of symbols along with associated user-defined data fields that updates on a real-time basis. Quickly select commonly used futures from the drop down list in symbol chain mode or search for symbol roots. Easily drag and drop symbols from QuoteView into Chart or Table History components.
Charts
View real-time streaming, historical time series prices, as well as optional calculated technical studies for analysis in customizable dynamic charts. Quickly determine the symbol list and related fields to create a chart. Easily print or email with a click of the right mouse button. View time series in all desired frequencies: trades, intraday, daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal. Seasonal charts can be configured for year-on-year comparison. Additional panning and zoom capabilities provide more control over your chart movement. Access sophisticated trend analysis with Fibonaccis, Ganns, trend channels and more.
Table History
View real-time streaming and historical time series price values in a tabular format as well as optional calculated technical studies for analysis. Create your own symbol list and related fields for viewing. View time series in all desired frequencies: trades, intraday, daily, weekly, and monthly. Create seasonal charts for easy year-on-year comparisons.

Option Analytics
Easily view all options for an underlying futures contract. Features include puts/calls viewing and analysis, Greek values, Black-Scholes model, volatility calculations and strike price filters
Real-Time News
Stay informed with real-time streaming news updates. Headlines can be displayed in the lower window panel or pop-up-window for constant viewing. Filter the news headlines by source, keyword, category, and ticker symbol or use the alert function to keep abreast of breaking news stories of interest.
Spreads
Displays pre-defined formula calculations that access real-time data in individual or chain format. All prices represented are live and streaming.
User-Defined Formulas
Create personal symbols with a custom formulas that can be saved for future use in QuoteView, Chart or the Table History.
Alerts
Set up individual alerts for price or news events that match your pre-set.
Forex Grid
Access live and streaming currency exchange information based upon the Composite Foreign Exchange spot data.
